I am so exasperated by the state of our state budget here in Michigan. Yes, the auto industry woes are affecting the economy of our peninsular state. But our legislators need a wakeup call to get their heads out of their buttocks and take RESPONSIBLE action to keep us on an even keel.
Waiting until the last minute to come to agreement on budget details is NOT being responsible to constituents. What if every taxpayer did the same - what a financial quagmire we'd all be in.
As far as I am concerned, I'm NOT re-electing ANYONE to the state legislature. The turkeys in Lansing cooked their own giblets with their lack of action.
It's time for some new birds to arrive at the state capitol!
